it's pretty obvious that Samsung wants people to treat it like an additional screen rather than the primary way of interacting with the device. by default, when you fold the phone, you put it to sleep instead of switching to the smaller screen (I *think* there's a setting for it but I didn't check so I'm not 100% sure). so it's supposed to be sort of like a beefed up version of the small external screen in clamshell cellphones.
They had a secured booth, and set it up to make people line up. I don't personally think it's really ready. If it was they would have put it out with the note 10 5G they have/had at least 20 of them on the floor (excluding the ones set up in Dex mode)
