**READ: Apple users, including me, have always 'invited' Android users to read about the keynotes, and look at Apple's latest offering in [hardware](https://www.reddit.com/r/Android/comments/6zp2tk/the_iphonex_what_are_your_thoughts/) and [software](https://www.reddit.com/r/Android/comments/bwhs99/what_did_everyone_think_of_the_apple_keynote_today/). This barely happens on this sub, so I would like to take this as a test to see how things go.**

Samsung took a leap there. As an Apple user, what do you think of the latest Notes?

Unlike a top bezel or a notch, the hole-punch camera actually pushes the area where there is a full, uninterrupted screen down and makes it smaller

Can you expand on this? To me, whether it's a bezel or a notch or a cut-out, they all make the "full, uninterrupted screen" smaller. Unless there's sensors that require a bezel or notch, why have one?

It's funny Samsung did that and now removed the jack, but no one outside of Reddit knows they said that, or cares. Also no one is going to say hey Samsung copied apple, therefore I won't buy Samsung. Android users will think wow the Galaxy has all the same features as the iPhone, I'm not switching.

It's not as good as just getting updates but Google's done a good job of seperating the majority of things from the actual OS. Security updates are seperate and a lot of other things have been seperated out into apps. The vast majority of the features you see advertised in googleIO ends up trickling down to older phones because of this.

I cod use my old nexus5 or even my Samsung Captivate (from 2011, although the hardware would make it lag like crazy and be super bad to use) and it'd still have most of the same features even though it's on an super old OS.

Google assistant is seperate through Google app, a lot of the traditional OS stuff is now updated through Google Play services, all the main apps like Gmaps, Photos are updated through the playstore etc.

I looked up how big the Note 2 was when I heard it was that big, because I remember thinking the Note 2 was *giant*.

It’s 5.5. It’s the same size as apple’s plus size iPhones, which look *small* now.

The Note 10 shit

Seriously. No expandable storage, no 5G, no extra blue color, one flash module (as opposed to two and a sensor on the plus), 8GB Ram max (as opposed to 12GB), no fast charging. Why even sell the Note 10 at all?
